I offer a tailored range of sobriety
engaged workshops for the performing arts, where I draw from my own
experience as an actor in long term
recovery, to highlight and explain the dangers of addiction within acting.
I can offer a solution based framework
for students and professionals which will reduce the risk of long-term
addiction and help those who
are already suffering.
workshop 1:
Awareness and help (1 hour, £250)
A one hour presentation on
alcoholism and drug addiction, with particular regard to performance
environments.
Find out how alcoholism and addiction works, what signs to look for, and where and how to access help.
awareness, intervention & help (2 Hours, £375
A two hour presentation and
workshop exploring how increased awareness can lead to impactful
intervention, what these
interventations can acheive when handled correctly, and how then
to access the appropriate pathways
to finding help.
Workshop 3:
awareness, intervention, prevention & help (half day, £500)
A half day workshop looking at
how awareness and intervention
can reduce risk of harm to individuals
or groups.
In addition, I detail how and what
preventative strategies can be
integrated specifically in line with
acting organisations and companies
to reduce the risk of long term
addictive behaviours taking affect.
workshop 4:
awareness, intervention, prevention, help & solution
(full day, £800)
A full day workshop outlining how
effective awareness and intervention policies mitigate risk of harm to an
individual or group. I also provide
clear guidance on what preventative
strategies can be integrated into acting
organisations or companies to reduce the risk of long term addiction before
it takes too strong a hold.
During this day we also have time to
look more deeply in understanding the
reasons for addiction and alcoholism,
and what solutions are most effective
to keep individuals safe and sober in
the long term. It is in this work we
begin revolutionise the way that
addicts perceive the world and
themselves which is the first step to
permanent change and growth.
